Broke Stampers Unite 101018

Hi everyone Thank You for stopping in. Today we are doing the Broke Stampers Unite Challenge, and this week is the Color Challenge. See Below...

It's a great Fall combination right? I knew I wanted to use the Buffalo Check background stamp and the Country Home stamp set. I just wasn't sure what to do with it all. The easiest for me was to add in the Layering Squares framelits and build up some colors that way. So I cut the Real Red, Crushed Curry and White layers and stamped my image on the white layer in black. Then using stampin write markers i colored in the image with Crumb Cake, Real Red, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the Crumb Cake card base using the Buffalo Check stamp and my Stamparatus with Crumb Cake ink. My card base was cut at 4.25 x 11 and scored at 5.5 so it opens from the bottom. This made it easy for me to just wrap my Crushed Curry ribbon around the card front and tie a bow in front. I added a cute little wooden heart shape and secured it all down with some glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink on a strip of white and flagged the right side before sticking it down with some SNAIL adhesive.

The more I looked at this card the more I liked the color combo.

Now head on over to Terri's Blog Here and Stace's Blog here to see what they came up with for this weeks challenge. You can also follow us on out Facebook group HERE if you'd like and you can even play along with us. If you do though we'd like you to share what you make so we can see too. Thank You for stopping in...

Have a great day......HAPPY STAMPING.......CAROL
