BSU Challenge 080818

Hello......hope your day is going well. It's time for another Broke Stampers Unite challenge and this week we have a color challenge.

Gorgeous Grape

Highland Heather

Granny Apple Green

Pineapple Punch

I chose to use the Jar Of Love stamp set for this challenge. Man I haven't used this set in a while. It was fun to put ink to it again.

Let me explain what I did here. I started with a base of Highland Heather and ran it through the Big Shot with the new Tufted TIEF. I then took a bit of Whisper White card stock and using a Gorgeous Grape combo set of Stampin' Blends I scribbled out a background. I ten stamped the jar in some Gorgeous Grape ink and cut it out with the coordinating Everyday Jars framelits. I then stamped some stems in the jar with Granny Apple Green and also stamped the water stamp inside the jar in Highland Heather stamped off once first. I stamped some of the filler stems in Gorgeous Grape onto my background. I then turned to the flowers and stamped some Pineapple Punch ones from the larger flower and some Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape ones from the small flowers. Cutting those out with the framelits and using Stampin' Dimensionals I adhered all of the pieces to the card front. Next I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green on a scrap bit of white card stock and trimmed it down. I flagged the end with the tailored tag punch to give me a great banner look. I have to say that Tufted embossing folder is so pretty and this photo doesn't really do this card justice. Really happy with how this card came out.

Now that's my version of this weeks challenge...now head on over to Terri's Blog Here and Stace's Blog Here to see what they came up with this week. Remeber you can always play along with us over on out Facebook Page here and share with us what you made for this challenge.

Have a great day...HAPPY STAMPING....CAROL
