Waterfront Stamp Set

Hello and Happy Saturday! I was playing around with some different sets last night and pulled out the Waterfront set again. I thought it would be fun to do some sponge brayer action on the background. Did you know we carried sponge brayers? You can find them on page 200 in the Annual catalog. They are so fun to make all over background effects and surprisingly they aren't even very messy to use.

So on this card I stamped my scene much like I did in the video I made below

Then, with the sponge brayer I added some Peekaboo Peach ink to give it a sunset look to the sky and then used some Pool Party for the water area. Seriously it was just a couple swipes across with each color. So easy.

Well I'm off to get some more stamping done this afternoon. I had some new products show up yesterday and I'm pretty excited to get them inked up.

Have a great day! Thanks so much for stopping in. If you have any questions at all you can email me at stampinwithcarolread@gmail.com and I will get right back to you. Oh hey and I was curious what you thought was one of the best sets in the Occasions catalog? Oh and how about the Sale A Bration Brochure? What is your favorite set there? ( if you haven't seen them yet you can view them on my catalogs page in the shopping tab above) I'd love to hear what products are your favorites.
