Petal Passion Suite - Life With You...

Hello.....hope your day is going well. We are headed into a day of rain....rain....and more rain. So I'm thinking today will be a great day to do some stamping. I am continuing with a get to know you on the Petal Palette stamp set that I showed you yesterday that is coming in the new Occasions Catalog Jan 3rd and now the Petal Passion Suite which is what we call a coordinating group of products. In this Suite we have not only the Petal Palette stamp set but also a matching Petals and More Thinlit dies, some beautiful Petal Passion DSP and Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. It's such a lovely set and the color palette for the DSP is done in Black and White and is designed so you can add your color if you want, or just keep the black and white look. So let me show you the whole card...

Pretty right? I took a base of Pool Party card stock and added a layer of the lovely Petal Passion DSP I then cut a label from the Lots of Labels framelits dies and stamped my sentiment on it. I then stamped the flower cluster and the sweet bird on Thick Whisper White using the Tuxedo Black ink pad. Let it dry real well before coloring it in with the Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers. Here I used Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Old Olive colors. I then cut the images out with the framelits and layered them on my card with some Stampin' Dimensionals. Oh and I used a bit of Gold Thread around the bird before sticking it down.

This set is gong to be a favorite. Can you believe this is the same set from yesterday's card?? I know now you need to go look at yesterday's card again huh?

So this is my sneak peek for today. Now you can get back to your Holiday preparations.

Thank You for stopping in and HAPPY STAMPING....CAROL
