Dear Friend - Catalog CASE

Hello....I went searching for inspiration again the other evening and found this fun card in the Annual Catalog on page 171. I have to say that this Swirly Bird stamp set #141749 is one that I haven't used all that much. It was time to pull it out and give it a try.

On this card I started with a layer of Whisper White card stock and on it I layered the largest cut out from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #141497. I glued them down using the tombow multi purpose glue. I then used the center of one of the cut outs to stamp my background color and sentiment on. That Peekaboo Peach circle is one of the solid stamps and then I just heat embossed the sentiment in white, and popped it on the front with a Dimensional. I then stamped and die cut the flowers and the leaves that go with this set using Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy and arranged them around my sentiment piece. I finished it off by tying on a White Bakers Twine bow and adding some sparkle with the Wink Of Stella brush.

It's a Fun and Cheery card right? What a fun thing to use to brighten someone's day.

There are so many possibilities with this fun little set. I'm not sure why I have overlooked it for so long. I will have to make a point of pulling it out more and using it.

So that's what I have for today....I'm so glad you have stopped by. I'm off to get some more outside decorating done. We put up our Christmas Lights on the house yesterday and have a few more finishing touches to do today. How are your Holiday festivities going? I hope you are finding the time to get all your wishes tended to. I think I'm just down to planning what we are going to do for dinner on the big day. My Occassions Catalog pre-order will arrive in a couple days so I'm pretty excited about that and diving into the new goodies. Not sure how it's been for you but this month has seemed to be blitzing by way too fast. When I was a kid it seemed it took FOREVER to get through December LOL.

Alright well THANK YOU for visiting and and know that you can get all of these projects mentioned here in my ONLINE STORE HERE. Tomorrow is the Broke Stampers Unite Challenge so be sure to stop in and see what technique we have in store for you.
